LIVGAS ADOPTS FLUE GAS ANALYSER POLICY

Although, at present, it is not mandatory, the use of a Flue Gas Analyser when carrying out a Service or Gas Safety Check is widely accepted as the best way to accurately record the correct working of the Gas Appliance.

Since 1995, there have been 562 deaths from the result of CO (carbon monoxide) poisoning due to faulty gas equipment.

Livgas has adopted the policy of using the Flue Gas Analyser when carrying out work on Gas Appliances and calls on their use as part of The Gas Safety Regulations.  In doing so, Livgas raises the bar for carrying out Gas Safety servicing & inspections.
