About Us

Allan Grierson, Gas Service & Heating Engineer formed Livingston Gas Services in Febuary 2000.

The name was shortened to Livgas  in 2005 and we became a Limited Company in 2009.

Completing a British Gas, Scotland apprenticeship in 1988, Allan qualified as a Gas Service Engineer. He also served 5 years as a Technician for Hepworth Heating (Glowworm), covering the East of Scotland, maintaining and repairing their boilers.

Over 10 years after starting up, Livgas has built up a large customer base, covering West Lothian, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Stirling, Lanarkshire, occasionally Glasgow and recently upgrading boilers in both Hawick & Perthshire.  Our clients include Large Letting Agents to Landlords owning single or multiple properties, to individual Homeowners.

Livgas is also expanding.  We have now taken on our first apprentice, who is going through his 3 year Modern Apprenticeship.  We are proud to be passing on over 25 years of experience.  New highly qualified tradesmen are the life-blood of our industry.

As Gas Heating Engineers, we are polite, wear clean, blue uniforms, and drive clean vans.  We are trained to the highest standards, regularly update our qualifications and treat your home as if it were our own.

For your peace of mind, we carry our Gas Safe Registered ID cards with us at all times.
